You know that scene in the little mermaid ...

This is how I've felt the past few days. Not in the vocal sense, but in the "typing" sense. In a weird way, life just hasn't been really "interesting" enough to write about. (See previous entry on dog.) On the other hand, I've actually been doing more than I do on an average basis. Not having a "functioning" laptop has been really great for my productivity. I've read all sorts of interesting things, I've made two pieces of jewelry in the past few days, been painting, and even tried a new recipe! And yet ... the words don't want to come.

I've been thinking lately about how we communicate, or don't. It'd be really swell if I could find words to go with the fluid concepts in my mind.
