Short version: Holy. Crap.
Longer version:
The show was sold out - which I expected. But this is the first time that I have ZERO complaints about the audience. They were silent from the moments the light went down until they came up. This movie is really something.
...and by something, I mean, very very dark. It was very good, however, it was very dark. I recommend it whole-heartedly.
HOWEVER, it may be pg-13, but please, please, please do not take your younger children to see this movie. I would hesitate to take a 13 year old, to be honest.
I can absolutely see why Ledger had trouble sleeping after this role. He and Eckhart were absolutely brilliant in their respective roles.
I will be thinking about this one for quite some time.
