I'll do justice to this later

This, in "quick! take a picture of it with the laptop!" form, is what I got from my mother in law for Christmas. It was really sweet of her, and I'll have to take a better picture later. It's a white gold necklace with sapphires.

It's not something I would have picked out for myself, but I like it.



Besides, as fate would have it, I've fawned over the idea of sapphire necklaces ever since this:












Yes. I'm terrible ... I've always loved Titanic. :)

But yeah. I'm really touched by the thought, if nothing else. Now, how to parlay this into my husband buying me awesome jewelry...
