The Great Cake Disaster

Lesson #1: You must attempt to take out, or at least loosen, your cake after about 10 minutes out of the oven. Lest it sticks.

Each crack in the cake represents a chunk that it had been broken into. As you can see, it was in many, many pieces.













I still attempted to frost it, because I wanted to try the icing recipe. The icing tasted great, however, because the cake was in so many pieces, the cake attached itself to the spatula every time I tried to put frosting on it. This was the end result:
